It is with great sadness that the family of the late GENEVIEVE LODER of Little St. Lawrence, NL, announces her passing at The Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Monday, April 1, 2013, at the age of 91. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: Son - Tom (Rosalie) of Little St. Lawrence; Daughters - Evelyn (Les) Hillier of St. Lawrence, Betty (Bob) Murphy of Brantford, ON, Madeline (Ed) Ladd of Brantford, ON, Selina (Frank) MacKinnon of Brantford, ON, and Bridget (John) Burke of Little St. Lawrence; 16 Grandchildren; 35 Great-Grandchildren; Sister - Theresa Smith of Sydney, NS; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband - William Loder, Son - Edward Loder, Granddaughter - Cathy Slaney, Grandson - Curtis Burke, and Daughter-in-law - Almeta Loder.

The Mass of Christian Burial took place at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in St. Lawrence, on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. Interment followed at Mount Cecilia Roman Catholic Cemetery in St. Lawrence. In Genevieve’s memory donations may be made to Mount Cecilia Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
