Kean
Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital on Friday, March 29, 2013 Cator Douglas Kean age 75 years of Eastport (formerly of New-Wes-Valley). Predeceased by his parents Abram and Maisie Kean; wife Maggie; grandson Daryl and sister-in-law Ida. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his partner Dorothy; sons Tony(Darlene) of Pool’s Island, Kirk(Darlene) of Gander, Barry(Claudette) of Wareham, Larry(Emma) of Wareham, Harvey(Arlene) of Badger’s Quay and Darren(Gail) of Grande Cache, AB; daughters Kimberley(Boyce) of Ft. McMurray, AB and Karen(Mike) of Indian Bay; brothers Howard(Ruby) of Lumsden, Sam(Fronie) of Victoria, Albert(Joan) of St. John’s, Paul(Judy) of Valleyfield and Gerald(Diane) of Brookfield; sister Margaret(Sandy) of Badger’s Quay; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of relatives and many friends. Funeral service took place at St. Alban’s Anglican Church, Badger’s Quay on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 with Rev. John Nicolle officiating, assisted by Rev. Paul Thoms. Interment followed at The Anglican Cemetery, Badger’s Quay. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove.
