Willigar, Milford W. – 96, of Parrsboro passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 at South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Parrsboro. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late Walter and Mary (Legere) Willigar. He was a master mechanic having worked for many garages throughout the area, but was particularly proud to have worked with the O’Regan family in Parrsboro for many years. He is survived by daughter, Glenda Parker (Charlie), Parrsboro; a son, Douglas (Linda), Parrsboro; grandchildren; Lawrence Willigar (Dawn), Parrsboro; Tina Kamienieki (Carson), Manning, Alta.; Lora Fife (Mike), B.C.; Wanda Willigar, Parrsboro; Jason Willigar (Carla), Parrsboro; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Margaret MacDonald; sisters, Viola and Regina; brothers, Donald, Albert, Roland and Percy. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev. Greg Doyle officiating. Burial in St. Brigid’s Catholic Cemetery, Parrsboro.
