Passed peacefully away on Sunday, February 7, 2010, Emile Joseph Gaudet, age 91 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 67 years Alfreda; daughter Sandra; son-in-law David Mercer; granddaughters: Annette (husband, David Moss), Amanda (Fiance, Michael Whelan); great-granddaughters: Riley and Mackenzie Moss; brother Victor Gaudet and sister Frances LeBlanc; as well as many other relatives and friends in Nova Scotia and in Holyrood, where he worked for 35 years at the Golden Eagle Refinery. Special thanks to the staff of the Hoyles Home. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Wednesday, February 10th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Mary Queen of Peace Church on Thursday, February 11th at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in Nova Scotia at a later date.
