Karley D. MacBain
NEW GLASGOW / PICTOU – Karley Dawn MacBain, 29, of New Glasgow and formerly of Pictou, passed away peacefully at home, April 4, 2013.
Born September 1, 1983, in Pictou, she was the daughter of Marina McAleese of Pictou, and Wayne MacBain of Edmonton, and step-daughter of Philip Davidson, of Pictou.
She is survived by daughters, Jaden MacBain, Trinity MacBain-Walsh, Tehya MacBain-Walsh; and son, Joel MacBain-Martin; brothers, Adam MacBain (Shelby), Zack Davidson (Sammy), Luke Davidson (Louise) and Isaiah Buchanan; step-sisters, Aleeta Cowan (Daniel) and Samantha Rector; grandfather, Fred David; and grandmother, Agnes MacNeill; seven nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was predeceased by maternal grandmother, Lois Betts, and grandfather, Earl MacNeill; and paternal grandmother, Georgina David; aunts, Donna Narin and Linda Haynes.
She was employed with Playtime at Dodie’s as a preschool teacher and was loved by many friends.
Visitation will be held in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou, on Tuesday from 2 to 3:30 p.m., followed by a Time of Remembrance from 3:30 to 4 p.m. A reception will follow in the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 16, Pictou.
