The death occurred at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home on Sunday, April 7, 2013, of Mr. Vernon E. “Cork” Doyle of Charlottetown, age 82 years.
Beloved father of Shelly Brown (Byron), Brenda Perry (David), Vernon Doyle (Kathryn) and Vincent Doyle (Carolyn Linney). He is also survived by seven loving grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sister and brothers Phyllis McCabe, Melvin Doyle (Shirley) and Barry Doyle (Lorraine).
He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Ethel (nee Lund) Doyle; step-mother Bernadette Doyle; brothers and sisters, Patricia Doyle, Eileen Norton, Vera Herrell, Constance Gresley, Ernest Doyle, Noreen Nash and Louis Doyle.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Thursday morning then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
