WHITE, Sandra Gail- of Yarmouth, passed away on April 8, 2013 at home. Born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia on May 10, 1949 she was a daughter to the late Murray and Goldie (Burrill) White. Sandra was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her children and grandchildren, giving love in the ways she knew how. She loved nature and the outdoors and often could be found gardening. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing with her son. Sandra was fond of animals especially cats. She is survived by her former husband George Lambert, Yarmouth; daughter, Laura Lee (Calum) McNicol, South Ohio; son, Jason (Melanie) Lambert, Brazil Lake; siblings, Lorraine White, Morris Island; Gordon White (Jane), Yarmouth; Doreen (Kenneth) Williams, Chegoggin; Gerald (Rose Marie) White, Yarmouth; Carmen (Annette) White, Shubenacadie; Wendell White , Yarmouth; Sheila (Edwin) Robicheau, Eel Brook; Richard (Jackie) White, Canaan; grandchildren, Brody, Braxton, Brooke, Connor. Besides her parents Sandra was predeceased by niece, Mona White and nephew Michael Chisholm. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation was held Thursday April 11, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home South Room. A funeral was held Friday April 12, 2013 at 2 p.m. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor Dave Wilcox officiated. Interment will be at a later date in the Canaan Cemetery on the Wilson Road.
