It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Jean Donahue on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Quebec, as a child she was raised in Newfoundland, later years she married and moved to New Waterford and raised her four children.
Jean was an avid sportsfan, baseball and NASCAR were her favourites.
She was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time with her family being a great mom.
Jean is survived by her children, Renolda Head, John Head, Barry Head, all of Sydney, Stephen (Lisa) Head, Sydney Forks; her precious grandchildren, Brett and Jordan; three sisters; three brothers as well as several nieces and nephews and her four cats. She is also survived by her foster mother, Mrs. Mary Fowler, Newfoundland; and her former husband, John Head.
She was predeceased by three brothers.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral by her request. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery will be held at a later date.
