Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, Eileen J. Sheppard of Harbour Grace South, age 80 years. Predeceased by husband: Norman; brother: Bill (Joyce) Shute; sister: Daisy Bradbury; brothers-in-law: Nath Newman and Josiah Noel. Left to mourn, one daughter: Christine (Terry) Hearn, Harbour Grace South; one son: Glenn (Linda) Sheppard, Harbour Grace South; two grandsons: Christopher and Coady; one great-grandson: Carter; two brothers: Hayward (Joan) Shute and Wayne (Mary) Shute, both of Harbour Grace; three sisters: Myrtle (Ed) Hayes, Harbour Grace South, Florence Newman (Jack Graham), Upper Island Cove and Annie (Morley) Colbourne, Carbonear; brother-in-law: Winston Bradbury, Upper Island Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Rev. Moses Tucker conducted the funeral service on Friday, April 12 from St. Peter's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace South. Interment took place in St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace South. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Harbour Grace South.
