MacLEOD, MARY MONICA - The death of Mary Monica MacLeod of New Maryland, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, April 10th, 2013. Born in Cape Breton, NS, she was the daughter of Alma (Russell) McLeod and the late Alec MacLeod. Survived by her mother, Alma; her children, Anthony (Arlene) MacLeod of Burlington, ON, Raymond Ivey of Oshawa, ON, George “Bud” (Tricia) of Surrey, BC, Richard (Holly) of Bejing China, Christopher (Christiana) Mississauga, ON, and Jason (Elizabeth) of Sydney, NS; grandchildren, Fionn, Cormac, Oscar, Michael, Stephen and Alex; step- grandchildren, India, Mason and Chantel; two brothers, Paul (Darlene) of Sydney, NS, Malcolm (Marjorie) Burlington, ON. Predeceased by her father, one daughter, Carmen; one brother, William “Billy.
Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Funeral Home on Monday, April 15th, from 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 16th, 2013 at 6:30 pm at the Sts. John and Paul Catholic Church 727 New Maryland Hwy, New Maryland, NB with Rev. Mark Trzop as Celebrant. In Lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Fredericton SPCA.
