Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Saturday, July 5, 2008, of Elizabeth (Liz) Lacey (nee Simons) of Stratford. Beloved wife of Bernard Lacey and loving mother of Kimberly Harris (Scott). Liz is also survived by her sister Sue Rogan (Rich) and brother Charles Simons (Irene). She was predeceased by her parents Louis and Mabel Simons and her parents-in-law Joseph and Edna Lacey. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 9, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the family plot at the church cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Arthritis Society or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
