He leaves to mourn his loving family: His Maude; children: De-Ann (Michael) King, Daniel Ward, Patrick Ward (Cassandra); cherished grandson: Jordan King; sister: Nellie (Steve) Butler; uncle: Bernard Hyde; his children’s mother: Bridget; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, co-workers & the 500 + students he taught & inspired. Predeceased By: parents: Michael & Winnifred Ward; sister: Mary Ward O’Keefe. The funeral mass took place at St. Patrick’s Church, Carbonear on Monday, April 8, 2013, 10:30 a.m. The inurnment took place at St. Patrick’s on Thursday, April 11, 2013.
