BEVERIDGE, ROBERT GERALD - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Robert “Bob” Gerald Beveridge which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, April 15th, 2013. Born 1957, in Saint John, NB, he was the son of Eunice (MacKay) and the late Angus Beveridge. Bob worked for Bay Ferries for over 32 years. He enjoyed walks in the park with his dogs, sports, and spending time at home with his family. He is survived by his loving wife Gail (Davidson) of 34 years; sons Mark (Bonnie) of Halifax, NS, Shawn (Alli) of Saint John; daughter Sara of Saint John; brother Bill (Elizabeth) of Saint John; sisters Bonnie (Bob) of Lincoln, NB, Brenda (Arthur) of Grand Bay-Westfield, Betty of Saint John; canine companion Cooper and feline companion Henry, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, with visitation being held on Thursday, April 18th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Fernhill Cemetery on Friday, April 19th at 11 a.m. followed by a reception at Fundy Funeral Home reception area.
