When they see us laughing,
People think we’re doing well,
We’ve learned to wear our masks just right,
So only we can tell,
Just how much we miss you,
Although it’s been three years,
The pain can bring us to our knees,
It gets hard to hide the tears,
We still keep your memory close,
And even though we are apart,
We cherish the years we had you,
And keep you forever in our hearts.
