In Loving Memory of Blanche Elise Sutton
November 18, 1920 - February 8, 2010
It is with great sadness that the family of Blanche Sutton announces her passing on February 8, 2010. She was dearly loved and will be remembered by her children: Jeannette (Clarence) Bowes, Paulette (Bob) Evenson, Allan Sutton, Lyle (Wendy) Sutton, Delphine (Bill) Soulier, Carolyn (Bruce) McLean, Dianna Sutton, Cheryle Sutton. She will be lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is survived by her brothers George, Victor and Raymond Boisson and her sisters Madeline Quaale, Yvette Stewart and Lorraine Toner as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Agatha and Raymond Boisson, her husband Charlie Sutton, Son David Sutton, brother Marcel Boisson, sister Helen Dauvin. Blanche was born in Kinistino, Sask. and lived in the area her entire life. In the spring of 1940 she married Charles Sutton and settled south of Beatty, SK. In 1944 they bought a quarter section of land in the Viking District, just NE of Kinistino and began farming. Over the next 34 years many memories would be developed for both Charlie, Blanche and their 8 children. Blanche worked very hard to make a loving home for her family, a farm that produced all they needed. In 1986 she retired with Charlie to Birch Hills. In February of 2007 Blanche moved to the Weldon Villa where she lived until the fall of 2008. She then moved to her most current residence at Mont St. Josephs in Prince Albert. Blanche had a life filled with family and friends. She loved to be Active - Gardening, Curling, Bowling, Golfing but her greatest love was going fishing. She loved to have her grandchildren and later her great grandchildren over for visits. Her family was her pride and joy.
We all love you mother and will miss you dearly.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Kinistino Legion Hall, Kinistino, SK., with Rev. Nora Vedress officiating.
Memorial contributions, in memory of Blanche, may be directed to Canadian Diabetes Association and/or Mont Saint Joseph Home Prince Albert, SK.
