1924-2008 At the Western Hospital, Alberton, on Tuesday July 8, 2008, of Phyllis Jean Hutt, beloved wife of the late Harve Hutt of Northport, age 84 years. Veteran of the Second World War. Born in Mt. Stewart, P.E.I., on September 5, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Grace (nee Wood) Affleck. Loving mother to Ronnie and his wife, Mary, and cherished grandmother to Melissa and Jeremy. Dear Grannie to Emily. Dear sister to Joan Glover of Charlottetown and dear friend to Vie Fraser of Northport and Suzanne Lee of St. Augustine, Florida, and Northport. Lovingly remembered by her special niece, Marilyn Waye of Charlottetown. She was predeceased by her husband Harve and by two sons, Errol and Bruce. She was also predeceased by sisters and brothers Hazel Taylor, Alma Affleck, Bessie Doiron, Walter, Preston, Freeman and Claude. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton.
