Carl Stover
STOVER, CARL L. - Unexpectedly at his residence on April 16, 2013, Mr. Carl L. Stover of Fairhaven, NB. Born at Eastport, ME on April 18, 1954, he was the son of the late Frank and Madge (Wilson) Stover. A loving brother, uncle, nephew and friend, he is survived by one sister, Joyce Richardson of Florida, one niece, Susan Richardson of Leonardville, NB, two nephews; Glen Bennett and Roy Bennett both of Blacks Harbour, NB, one great niece, Kathy, two aunts; Ginny Leslie and Ina (James) Lord both of Deer Island, NB and several cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother Glen Stover. Carl was employed with Cookes Aquaculture where he worked on the local salmon sites. He loved being on the water, both working on the sites and on the sardine carriers. Carl was a devoted Mason and Shriner and was a member of the Abanaki Lodge # 55, Deer Island, NB where he was a Past Master and he was also a member of the OES Granite Chapter # 15, St. George, NB.
Resting at the Fairhaven Baptist Church, Fairhaven, NB from where the service will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Maurice Hatfield officiating. Visiting at the church on Friday from 4 to 6 pm. A Masonic and OES Tribute Service will be held at the church on Friday at 7:00 pm. In Carl’s memory, donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
