LYONS, EMMETT FRANCIS - January 11, 1938 - April 16, 2013 - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Emmett Lyons on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the age of 75 years. Emmett was born in Doaktown and after five years in the Royal Canadian Air Force, he moved to Calgary in 1967. He worked as an Inspector in Oil and Gas for Prudential Steel and retired after thirty years. Emmett will be lovingly remembered by Donna Lyons; children Belinda (Rob) Ingram, Harold, Wayne (Twyla), Bertha (James) Staddon and Michelle Bliesner; fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Service will be held at First Alliance Church (12345 - 40 Street S.E.) on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. with Visitation one hour prior to Service.
