Sandra Jennie Cournoyer of Moose Jaw passed away suddenly on April 9, 2013 at the age of 64. Sandy was born in Moose Jaw on April 9, 1949, grew up and spent the rest of her life there. Predeceased by her father Giles Alford; mother Mary Spendlow (maiden name Tycquet), and husband Kenneth Cournoyer. Sandy will be sadly missed by her daughter Brenda (Alan) Walker and two grandsons Christopher and Aaron Walker of Edmonton; half-sister Linda (Dave) Brown (maiden name Dodds) of Calgary and their family; cousin Lorraine (Frank) Spalj (maiden name Fostey) of Edmonton and their family; as well as numerous other cousins and extended family. At Sandra’s request, there will be no funeral service. For those so wishing, memorial donations may be made to the Sask. Heart & Stroke Foundation, 279 3rd Ave. N., Saskatoon, S7K 2H8.
