ANDERSON, CHARLES DONALD - The family of “Don” would like to announce that he has begun another segment in his journey of life. On Friday the 19th of April 2013 he left us to join the heavenly Father and many of his family and friends. Born on the 30th of April 1925 in Wards Creek, NB, son of the late Charles and Alvaretta (Kelso-Nice) Anderson. He is survived by his loving wife, Annie of Oromocto, NB; his daughter, Barbara Ann (Alan) Richards and their two sons, Brandon and Andrew; his son, Blake (Julia) and their children, Marci (Charles) Spencer and Tonia Anderson, his son, Brian (Lynn) and their daughter, Jessica (Justin) Polley; granddaughter, Vicki (Gregg) Daniell; and great-granddaughter, Madison Pirone; his sister, Jean Matthews; cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Don was predeceased by his son, Donald David Anderson; four sisters; two brothers; two sisters-in-law; and five brothers-in-law.
Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home (357-5100) on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Oromocto United Church on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 11:00 am with Rev. Bob Jones officiating. Interment will take place in the Kirk Hill Cemetery, Sussex, NB at 2:30 pm on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Don’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
