Kimberley Ann Cadigan (nee Duggan)

Of Middle Cove, formerly of Toronto, passed away on April 19, 2013 in Halifax after a determined battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Predeceased by her parents, Mary Lou Snape (Don) and Robert (Florence), mother-in-law Alice Cadigan and Aunt Bride Kinsella. Leaving with fond memories, the centre of her universe daughter Alicia and husband Robert. Her father-in-law Dan (known as Dad to Kimberley) and sisters-in-law Kathy Inkpen (Steve) and Agnes Mallay (Kevin) and families of Halifax who provided loving care during her time in the stem cell transplant program at QE II. Sister-in-law Ann Flynn (Craig) providing loving care during her two rounds of chemotherapy in St. John’s. Brother-in-law Dr. Dan Cadigan (Dianne) of Port Clinton, Ohio. Brother Michael Duggan of Toronto who provided the gift of stem cells, Brother Christopher who also offered to donate and sister Theresa. Beloved nieces and nephews and a large circle of relatives and friends. Kimberley approached her illness with her usual wit and determination. She showed appreciation for the care she received from the staff of 4 North A and ambulatory care at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s and the transplant unit and ICU at the QEII in Halifax. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and
7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 2 p.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Church, Outer Cove. Cremation to follow. Donations may be made in her memory to the Health Care Foundation, Health Sciences Centre.
She will be missed
and forever in our hearts.
