It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald G. Brake announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday, February 15, 2010 at the age of 66 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 46 years Rowena, children; Dennis (Lenora) of Brantford, Lisa (Sheldon) of Guelph, Mark (Joan) of Meadows, Kirby (Christine) of Hughes Brook, Jennifer (Brent) Park of Labrador City, and Amanda Parsons of Gillams. Parents Chesley and Sylvia of Mountainview House, brothers and sisters; Jacqueline (Glenn) Thomas of Halifax, Doreen (Dougal) Park of Meadows, Rex Brake (Barbara House) of Meadows, Ula (Curtis) Park of McIvers, Verna (Wade) Adams of Deer Lake, Norma (Derick) Brake of Halifax, Danny Brake of Halifax, Ramsbey (Daisy) Brake of Meadows, Louise Brake (Byron Allan) of Meadows, Alvin (Ethel) Brake of Meadows, 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, special friends Darlene Brake and Frances Brake as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his sister baby Delphine, father and mother-in-law Bernard & Bertha Penney. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Meadows, NL on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 12 noon. Funeral service will take place at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Meadows NL on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
