It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Viola Bailey, aged 92 years. Predeceased by her devoted husband John (2004). Leaving to mourn daughter Heather (Tom Griffin), son Nelson (Elizabeth), grandsons Scott Bailey, Tom Griffin (Belinda), and Bob Griffin (Melissa Lukings), and precious great-grandsons Nate and Luke Griffin. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces and nephews and dear friends. Special thanks to nieces Lolie Candow, Helen Boland, Mary Williams and Marie Brennan for your ongoing comfort and support, as well as Brenda Tricco for your visits and surprise packages. A very big thank you to the staff of Chancellor Park, 2 East, for your loving care and consideration during the past two years. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 - 11 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, April 24, at 11 a.m. from Barrett’s Chapel.
