Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 21, 2013, Francis J. Power of Mount Carmel, aged 98 years. Predeceased by his wife, Hannah (September, 1998); parents: Bella and William Power; brothers: Thomas, William, George and John; sisters: Theresa Beehan, Mary Power and Frances Pike. Leaving to mourn: his children: Gerard, Geraldine (Bern) Oliver, Clifton (Marilyn), Brian (Patricia), Rosarie (Bill) Furlong, George (Trudy), Monica (Clyde) Squire, special son, Wayne Brazil; 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; brothers: Walter (Phyllis), Ralph, William (Eleanor); sisters: Anita Morrison and Stella Power; brothers-in-law: Ernie Beehan (Jackie) and Albert Nolan (Mary). Also left to mourn are many other nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Mount Carmel, beginning at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 22; and Tuesday (2 – 9 p.m.). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 24, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery.
