The death occurred unexpectedly at South Lake Regional Hospital, Newmarket, Ontario, on Sunday, April 21, 2013, of Arnold Peters, formerly of Mayfield, P.E.I., age 78.
Arnold was the beloved husband of Chris (MacPherson) Peters for 35 years and the much loved stepfather of Carol Profitt. He is also survived by his sisters, Irene Gallant, Helen Doiron, Margaret Gauthier (Francis) and Eunice Gillis (John); sisters-in-law, Rose Marie Peters and Betty (Large) Peters; and many nieces and nephews.
Arnold was predeceased by his parents, Jeremiah and Ida (LeClair) Peters; brothers, Elmer (Gertie), Alban (Estelle), Clarence (Dorothy), Raymond, Reginald and Jeremiah "Junior"; sisters, Rita Gauthier (Auspice), Clarice Buote (Ernest), Ella Mae Gallant (Alphonse), Eleanor Blacquiere (Ferdinand) and Irene Emma, in infancy; and brothers-in-law, Leo Gallant and Edward Doiron.
Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Sunday, April 28, 2013, from 2 to 5 p.m. The funeral will be held at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Hope River, on Monday, April 29, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Anne’s Cemetery. Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing scented products.
