It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Ward announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the age of 72 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Patricia, 2 sons: Leroy (Marla) of Kingston, Nova Scotia, Gregory (Kristin) of Vermilion, Alberta, brothers and sisters: Leonard (Betty) of Stephenville Crossing, Alfred (Yvonne) of St. George’s, Norman (Carm) of New Market, Winnie (Mike) of Nova Scotia, Madonna (Cliff) of Stephenville, Debbie (Steve) of Kippens, Darlene (Ronnie) of Stephenville, Tina (Randy) of British Columbia, Vernell (Fabian) of St. George’s, sister-in-law, Delphine Ward, 4 grandchildren: Brittney, Courtney, Alyx, Ethan, special buddy, Toby and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Mary, brothers: Leroy, Russell and sister, Annette. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville on Saturday, April 27th at 12:30 p.m. with Interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
