Passed peacefully away at Brookfield Hospital on Thursday, April 18, 2013 Gilbert Stagg age 88 years of Lumsden. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Annie Stagg; brothers Cecil, Raymond and Esau; sisters Sybil, Joan, Statie and Violet; son-in-law Warrick Pynn; great-granddaughter Erin Pynn, brothers-in-law; Ernie, Carmen, Gideon, Clarence, Stevie and Edgar, sister-in-law; Lucy. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his son Lorne(Bonnie) of Lumsden; daughters Brenda Pynn of Newtown, Margaret Boone(Roy) of Gander and Alva Kean(Paul) of Lumsden; sister Rhyma Humphries of St. John’s; grandchildren Darrell, Stephen, Lorne, Nicole, Kaliegh, Shelley, Christie, Cassandra, Ryan and Bradley; great-grandchildren Morgan, Courtney, Brianna, Kennedy, Maverick, Abby, Maggie-Kate, Logan and Drew; sisters-in-law; Faith, Pearl, Josephine (Howard), Emma (Manuel), Shirley (Renee) and Millie, brothers-in-law; Ford (Wanda), Jack (Patsy), Bruce (Susan), Gregory (Norma) and Morris (Lynn) and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service took place at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Lumsden on Saturday, April 20, 2013 with Mr. Leslie Stokes officiating. Interment followed at The Cemetery of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Lumsden. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove - Musgrave Harbour.
