Peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, April 25, 2013, of Mr. Ernest Pippy, of Stratford and formerly of Hazel Brook, age 78 years.
Beloved husband of Hazel (nee Myers) Pippy, and dear father of Dail Smith (Wayne), Gail Farquhar (Robert), Lorna Robertson (Ralph), Kim Pippy, and Tracey Thibeau (Glenn). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and sister, Ruby Peters.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow in the family plot at Mt. Herbert United Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
