Tower, Mabel Palmer, 96, Truro, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Mira Long Term Care Centre, Truro. Born in Dorchester Cape, NB, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lena (Buck) Fillmore. Mabel enjoyed playing the piano and was a great cook. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by her son Glenn of Truro; daughter Judy Blois of Dartmouth; grandson Lee of Truro.
She was predeceased by her husband Curtis Glenn Tower; brothers, Raymond, Victor, Everett; sister, Mary.
Visitation will take place on Monday from 2-4pm and funeral service Tuesday, April 30th, at 2: 00 pm all in the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Pastor Ken Fillmore will officiate with burial to follow in Bible Hill Cemetery, Bible Hill. Family flowers only.
