The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, January 7, 2013, of Shirley MacNevin, of Summerside, aged 75 years. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Broome) Ferrish. Survived by her sons Ensor and Sheldon (Robert); daughter Marilyn; grandchildren Curtis (Mallory) and Katilyn; sisters Frona Brown; Erma MacDougall; Helen Ferrish-Hogg; Carol (Joe) Praught; Brenda Ferrish; brother Deane (Edna) Ferrish; sisters-in-law Adrienne Ferrish and Margaret Perry (Mike Charbonneau). Predeceased by her husband Harold MacNevin; brother Donald Ferrish; and by brothers-in-law Wilfred Brown and Alfred Perry. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, St. Eleanors. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the East Prince Home Care Palliative Care Program would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside.
