LeBLANC, JOAN MARIE - 1928 - 2013 - Moncton, NB - Joan Marie LeBlanc, 84, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Born in Cape Breton, NS on July 6, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Christina (LeBlanc) Simon. Joan will be sadly missed by her daughter, Monique Richardson of Woodstock, NB; her three sons, Marcel of Moncton, NB, Camille (Shannon) of Bedford, NS and Lawrence (Paula) of Charlottetown, PEI; her sister, Marion Avery (late Conn) of Cape Breton, NS; her six grandchildren, Danielle, Matthew, Patrick, Kathryn, Michael and Monica; also by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Urbain (2011); one daughter, Lucie Calixta; one brother, Lloyd and one sister, Ann.
Wake and funeral will be held next week at the St. Michael’s RC Church in Margaree, NS. Donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
