Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, of Mr. Wm. B. "Bill" MacAulay, of Park West Lodge and formerly of Cardigan, age 82 years.
Special friend of Arlene Gallant and loving father of Larry (Cheri), Derek (Jill), Wayne (Erica), Rodney (Synthia), and their mother Viola MacAulay. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren Alyson, Haydyn, Emma and Lucy; sister-in-law, Anne MacAulay. Predeceased by his parents, Malcolm and Carol MacAulay, and brothers Francis, Sterling, Lem, Alphonse and Hubert.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Cuthbert's Parish Cemetery, St. Teresa. Visiting hours on Friday 7-9 p.m.
Branch #1 of the Royal Canadian Legion will hold a Veteran's Tribute Service at the funeral home on Friday evening at 6:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Society of PEI.
