The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, of Carl Frederick Reeves of Freetown, aged 70 years. Carl was born on Sept. 22, 1942, in Freetown, to his late parents Russell and Reta (nee Leard) Reeves. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Archer) Reeves, loving father of Sheila of Summerside, David (Vicki) of Freetown and Trent of Edmonton, AB., and stepfather of Lisa of Halifax, Tracey of Charlottetown, Tammy of Charlottetown, Jason (Susan) of Calgary, AB. Also lovingly remembered by his 8 grandchildren. Survived by the following brothers and sisters: Lowell (Doris) of Kelvin Grove, Elizabeth (Ed) of Charlottetown, Hoke (Susan) of Miscouche, Delbert (Barb) of Charlottetown, Lawson (Priscilla) of Charlottetown and Randy (Cathy) of Calgary, AB. Besides his parents, Carl was predeceased by his first wife Sandra (nee Marchbank) Reeves, his brother Earl and his grandson Joey.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Saturday, May 4, for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in the Freetown People¹s Cemetery, Freetown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Carl¹s memory to Freetown People¹s Cemetery would be greatly appreciated.
