Neil Samuel Kenney, 34, Frasers Mountain passed away Friday, May 2, 2013 at home.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Richard E. and Brenda L. (Wilson) Kenney, Priestville. Neil was employed at Michelin Tire, Granton through Summer Street Industries, New Glasgow. He enjoyed doing auto body work with his friend, Philly Rector. Neil lived for his children. He was a loving father, son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
Surviving besides his parents, Richard and Brenda, are daughters, Sky and Kaydee; son, Dawson; maternal grandmother, Josephine Wilson, Frasers Mountain; his daughter’s mother, Amanda Arbuckle and her daughter, Emma, Hillside; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Samuel Wilson; aunt, Debbie MacDonald; uncle, Russell Carey.
The family will receive visitors 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow from where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson presiding. Interment will be in Lorne Street Cemetery, New Glasgow.
