Henry Crane

Henry ‘Butch’ Crane of St. Peters Road, Sydney, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, he was a son of the late William and Christina (Collier) Crane.
Henry was a member of St. Albans Church.
He was employed with the Cape Breton District Health Authority at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital where he was an orderly.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are his wife, Winnie Sutherland; son, Glenn and stepson, Leo (Lisa); daughter, Yvette and stepdaughter, Susan (Steve); brothers, John and Andrew (Marilyn). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Albans Church on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Archdeacon Brenda Drake officiating. Interment in Hardwood Hill Cemetery.
