DOUCET, LUCIEN - Lucien Joseph Doucet, loving husband of Eliette Marie (Guignard) Doucet, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 6, 2013 at the Turnbull Nursing Home, with his family at his side. Born 1927 in Petit Rocher, NB he was the son of the late Clement and Dorilda (Roy) Doucet. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Cleo Doucet; sister Dora Deschenes. Lucien worked as a carpenter for Irving Oil for many years. In addition to his loving wife of 50 years, Eliette, he is survived by his sons Robert Doucet (Linda) of Quispamsis, Gary Doucet (Paula) of Saint John and Rick Doucet (Sue) of Saint John; grandchildren Christopher, Jason, Natasha and Stephen; great grandchildren Harmony and Noah; sisters Rita Legace of Petit Roche, Doris Morin (Herault) of Dalhousie and Yvonne Savoie (Edgar) of Eel River Crossing; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitations on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery.
