Melendy
Jane Melendy - 85 of Templeman passed away after a brief illness on April 28, 2013 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander. Predeceased by her parents; Edgar and Lillian Collins of Hare Bay, and brothers: Philip, Wilfred, Rowland and Quince. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband, Daniel; daughter, Marie (Rick LeBlanc) of St. John’s; sons: Frederick (Brenda) of Mt. Pearl, and Dean (Darlene) of Fall River, Nova Scotia; grandson, Justin; brothers: Pearce (Ella), and Baxter (Elizabeth) of Hare Bay along with a large circle of other family and friends. Funeral service on May 9, 2013 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Lumsden, with Mr. Jeff Kessler officiating. Inurnment followed from the cemetery of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Lumsden. In her memory, donations may be made to The Lumsden Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for World Wide Work. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove-Musgrave Harbour.
