MOULAISON, Benjamin Joseph – 78, Digby, passed away on May 4, 2013 in Digby General Hospital. Born May 1, 1935 in Meteghan River, he was a son of the late George Joseph and Madeline Mary (Thibodeau) Moulaison. Ben worked as a painter and a boat builder. He was very handy, and in his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, having built many Cape Cod boats and model boats. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Clare Branch No. 52. He is survived by his wife, Edna M. (Robicheau) Moulaison, as well as by children, Sandra (Shawn) and Richard (Pam), both of Toronto, and 2 granddaughters, Sarah and Emily. Also surviving are a brother, Harvey (Marie) Moulaison, Toronto, and sisters, Agnes Stevens, Villa Acadienne, Meteghan and Caroline Duncan, Yarmouth. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Henry and Medric Moulaison, and sisters, Edith Chute and Theresa Amiro. Visitation took place from 2-4 Friday and Saturday, with prayers at 3 p.m. Saturday, all at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. There was no funeral service and cremation followed the visitation. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
