BONNELL, NANCY - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Nancy Catherine Bonnell which occurred on Wednesday May 8, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1954 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Hollingsworth and Helen (Lyons) Turner. Nancy was very involved with the Lancaster Minor Hockey League and would always be seen cheering on her team and everyone else’s. She loved spending time with her family at the trailer in Pleasant Lake, where she would never miss a bingo game. She loved baking with her grand-daughters, they always put a smile on her face. She is survived by her loving husband Robert Bonnell of Saint John; sons Jason (David Cormier) Bonnell-Cormier of Stewiacke, NS and Jeffrey Bonnell of Grand Bay-Westfield; grandchildren Addison and Leksie; brothers Ronald (Katherine), William (Anita) and Robert (Sandra) all of Saint John; sisters Susan (Donald) Whittaker of Saint John and Donna (Robert) Whittaker of Lower Greenwich, NB.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday May 11, 2013 at 1 p.m. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Ext.
