MOFFITT, MILTON ROBERT - August 9, 1930 - May 10, 2013 - With heavy hearts, the family of Milton Robert Moffitt of Harvey Station, NB wish to advise of his passing May 10, 2013 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Harvey Station, NB, he was a son of the late George and Lizzie (Craig) Moffitt. Milton is survived by his wife, Blanche (Little) Moffitt; six children, Luanna Winchester (Donnie), Darlings Island, NB, Martin Moffitt (Peggy), Cambridge Bay, Nunavut, Susan Boucher (Kevin), Hanwell, NB, Cathy Davenport (David), Hampton, NB, Sidney Moffitt (Edie), Utopia, ON and Darlene Nason (Paul), Meadow Lake, SK; a brother, Alton Moffitt, Fredericton, NB. Milton was blessed with thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a daughter, Corrine Jane in January of 1969.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB on Monday, May 13, 2013 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 2412 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Interment will follow at Harvey Settlement Cemetery. A reception will follow in the church fellowship room.
