JENSEN, SADIE - Mrs. Sadie Evelyn Jensen, 86, wife of the late Percy Jensen of Lake Edward, passed away at Plaster Rock on May 10, 2013. Born at Undine in 1926, she was the daughter of the late Ottie and Florence (Lauridsen) Hitchcock. She is survived by seven daughters, Dianna Chase (Austin) of Fredericton, Donna Hoyte (Bob) of Virginia, Leueen Accettola (Bob) of Toronto, Althea Simpson (Bob) of Plaster Rock, Lenore Jensen of Grand Falls, Vicki Paul (Joe) and Pamela Xerri (Mike) of Toronto, one son, Lyle (Monique) of Lake Edward, 26 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, sister-in-law, Glenna Hitchcock of Saint John, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Leslie and Malcolm, daughter, Melony and brother, Sylvester Hitchcock.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Sunday, May 12th at 2 p.m. from St. Ansgar’s Anglican Church, New Denmark with Rev. Kent Greer officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
