MOREHOUSE, CLAUDE RICHARD - It is with great sadness that the family of Claude Morehouse announce his death at home on May 9, 2013 at the age of 72. Born on June 7, 1940, he was the son of the late Perley and Dora (Smith) Morehouse. Claude leaves behind his daughters, Jennifer and Crystal Morehouse of Fredericton; brother, Brian (Susan) Morehouse of Gagetown; sisters, Shirley Hammond of Oromocto, Beverley (Dennis) Wiseman of Lincoln and Norma (Stephen Dort) Morehouse of Oromocto; several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Perley and Dora, Claude was predeceased by his brother, Arthur Little; and sisters, Rhoda Goddard, Arlene Rathburn and Annie Coy. Claude was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and spend time in his garden.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago St., on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Lisa Greenwood officiating.
