At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 of Mr. Leonard "Lennie" Thompson of Charlottetown, age 66 years.
Beloved husband of Pat (nee Cannon). Grandson of the late Hattie "Mom" and Bill Woodgate. Lennie is also survived by his aunt, Jean (Clive) Marshall; uncle, Allison "Da" Woodgate; cousin, Allan Thompson; stepson, Paul Buell; five grandchildren; sister-in-law, Adeara (Brian) Bradley; brother-in-law, Lorne Cannon (Sandra MacDonald); son, John Thompson; and daughter, Candace (Paul) Gregory. He was also predeceased by uncles, Ronald "Pipey" Woodgate (Anne Watts), James Thompson; mother and father-in-law, Marie and Joseph Cannon; sister-in-law, Claire Francis; and brother-in-law, Joe Cannon.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Friday morning, then transferred to St. Pius X Church, for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
