Rector, Jeffery A. – 48, of Dartmouth, and formerly of Advocate Harbour passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 in Dartmouth. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of Lorna (Elliott) Rector, Advocate Harbour and the late Clifton Rector. He is survived by a daughter, Charlene; a son, Jeremy, both of Dartmouth; sisters, Virginia MacGillivary, and her husband, Dwight; Charlotte Morris, and her husband, Danny, all of Advocate Harbour; brothers, Sherrard, and his wife, Marlene, Hopewell Cape, NB; Anthony “Tony”, and his wife, Bonnie, Owen Sound, Ont.; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, James. A graveside committal service will be held 2 p.m. on Monday [May 13, 2013] at the Advocate Cemetery, Rev. Dr. Phyllis Nesbitt officiating.
