RENOUF, JOHN TERRANCE - The passing of John Terrance Renouf of Lower Durham, NB, occurred on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on May 5, 1950 in Deer Lake, NL, he was the son of the late Henry Renouf and Theresa (Benoit) Doucet. He worked as the Maintenance Manager at UNB. John played softball for many years and also coached a Fredericton Girls Softball team. He played baseball with the old timers on Saturday mornings and bowled in the UNB bowling league. John also enjoyed darts, playing cards, fishing and hunting. He volunteered at the food bank delivering Christmas boxes. John leaves behind many close friends. In addition to his companion, Theresa McCoy, he is survived by his three daughters, Deanna Ezekiel (Cory) of Fort McMurray, AB, Michelle Renouf (Troy Collett) of Fredericton, NB and Loretta Renouf (James Inkpen) of Fort McMurray, AB; eight grandchildren, Kelsey, Riley, Dawson, Glenn, Dakota, Brandon, Hailey and James; sisters, Patricia MacLellan of Hanwell, NB, Joan Sacobie of Surrey, BC, Audrey Beaudry of Truro, NS and Bernice Renouf of Ontario; brothers, Victor Renouf of NL and foster brother, Bill Snow of Calgary, AB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson, Brett; and brothers, Robert, Frank and Bobby.
Visitation took place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 4 to 9 pm and will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 9 am to 2 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 3:00 pm with Father Monte Peters officiating.
