Hewitt
Passed peacefully away in her home at Centreville on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 surrounded by her family, Rebecca Hewitt age 80 years. Predeceased by her daughter Mildred Hewitt; parents Thomas and Mildred Pickett; stepmother Margaret Pickett; brother Silas Pickett and sister Priscilla Taylor. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Ronald; son Chris(Kathy) of C.B.S.; daughters Joyce(Denis) of Riviera-Heva, PQ., Priscilla(Melvin) of Deer Lake, Mollie(Tony) of Kelligrews and Veronica[Granddaughter](Colin) of Trinity; brothers Malcolm(Lillian), Robert John(Jane), Lemuel, Jonas(Olive), Stanley(Iris), Gerald(Mae) and Seymore; sisters Mildred(Rick), Rowena and Bonnie(Eric); sister-in-law Emily Pickett; brother-in-law Gary Taylor; grandchildren Verna, Bruce, Vicki, Ira, Susan, Joshua, Micah, Heather, Anthony and Neil; great-grandchildren Lucas, Gabriel, Jacob, Jessica, Kevin, Ashley, Andrew, Juniper, Fraya, Tyson and Mclane; and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. The family would like to express a sincere thanks to caregivers; Maggie Pickett, Lillian Ackerman and Marsha Hunt for their love and devotion. Funeral service took place at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville on Friday, May 17, 2013 with Rev. David Coffin officiating. Interment followed at St. John the Baptist Anglican Cemetery, Wareham. Donations in her memory may be made to The Parkinson Society Newfoundland and Labrador.
