Russell 'Jimmie' Newton

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our brother Jimmie, in Calgary, Alta., on May 14, 2013, on his 64th birthday.
He was the son of the late Alvin and Margaret (Campbell) Newton of Deep Cove, Gabarus, N.S.
He is survived by a sister, Charlotte MacIntyre, Gabarus; a brother, Murry Newton, Gabarus Lake; sister-in-law, Catherine Newton, Sydney; brother-in-law, James MacIntyre, London, Ont. and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sister, Betty MacIntyre; brothers, Stevie and wife, Libby Newton, Francis (Beaver) Newton, and brother-in-law, Dan MacIntyre.
As per his wishes cremation has taken place, and interment to follow at a later date in St. Margaret’s Cemetery, Grand Mira, N.S.
