Winnifred Blanche Macleod

The death occurred at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home on Sunday, July 20, 2008, of Mrs. W. Blanche (nee Currie) MacLeod, formerly of Fitzroy Street, age 78 years. Beloved wife of the late Fletcher MacLeod and dear mother of Debbie Josey of Brantford, Ont., John (Patti) MacLeod of Charlottetown and Robert MacLeod of Brantford, Ont. She is also survived by nine loving grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and her sister, Margaret Currie. Predeceased by her parents, John and Alice (nee Murphy) Currie and her sister, Jessie Currie. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 Thursday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot in the People’s Cemetery. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Treatment Centre or the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home.
