It is with great sadness that the family of the late STELLA LAKE of Fortune, NL, announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, on Monday, May 27, 2013, at the age of 93. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Son - Pierce Lake of Fortune; Daughter-in-law - Carol Ann Lake of Burin; Grandson - Kirk (Lenore) Lake of Burin; 2 Great-Grandchildren - Tyler & Brittany; Sister-in-law - Grace Thornhill of St. John’s; Brother-in-law - Ben (Maude) Lake of St. John’s; plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Pre-deceased by: Husband - Roy, Son - Keith & Grandson - Kevin.

The Funeral Service took place at the United Church in Fortune on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery in Fortune. In Stella’s memory donations may be made to Fortune United Church. No flowers by request of the family.
