ARSENEAULT, MARGUERITE - With sadness the family announces the passing of Marguerite Frances (Dayment) Arseneault, loving wife of Gerald Arseneault, which occurred on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1933 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Agnes (Ryan) Dayment. Marguerite was employed many years as a bookkeeper for Ritchie's. She was a member of the Glen Falls Gems and Irving Alumni. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, travelling and always said "travel when you're younger, not when you're old". In addition to her husband, Gerald of Rothesay, she is survived by her son, Gerald (Theresa), also of Rothesay; daughter, Jacqueline (Gordie) Arseneault of St. George; five grandchildren, Tanya (Dave), Amanda (Chris), Sylvia (Shane), Allison and Ethan (Amber); 13 great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Damien, Daniel, Alyssa, Kody, Aroura, Matthew, Abigail, Zakk, Seria, Emma, Sarha and Abel; and her canine companion, Jasper.
Following cremation, visitation will be held at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland (646-2424) on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Rothesay on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
